What is GYEON Q²M Cure? GYEON Q²M Cure is a SiO₂-based ceramic spray sealant that regularly tops up existing coatings and sealants, reactivates the hydrophobicity and builds an extra layer of protection – for maximum durability on any coating.

Ceramic coatings last – but they get a huge amount out of regular care. GYEON Q²M Cure is the go-to top-up for every GYEON Q² coating: a highly concentrated SiO₂ spray sealant that bonds chemically with the coating surface, reactivates the hydrophobicity and lays down a fresh layer of protection at the same time. The result: coatings last longer, bead harder and look better across their whole lifespan.

• Reactivates hydrophobicity on ceramic coatings instantly and for the long haul. Over time the hydrophobicity of ceramic coatings drops off – through washing, the elements and UV. Q²M Cure turns that around: once it's on, water beads as sharply as it did on a freshly applied coating. The reactivation lasts noticeably longer than with a plain quick detailer.
• Builds a SiO₂ protective layer of its own on top of the coating surface. Q²M Cure isn't just a care product – it carries enough SiO₂ to form a layer of its own on top of the existing coating. That layer protects the base coating from breaking down and stretches its overall lifespan considerably.
• Works just as well as a standalone sealant with no base coating. Q²M Cure is strong enough to use on unsealed paint too – as a stand-alone sealant with solid beading and several months of durability. Ideal for cars that aren't getting a permanent ceramic coating.

Day-to-day from Detailing1: Lay Q²M Cure down on dry paint after the wash. Spread it evenly on a clean microfibre or applicator, let it sit for a moment (about 60–90 seconds), then buff it off with a second, clean microfibre. For cars running Q² Mohs EVO or other Q² coatings we'd top up with Q²M Cure every 2–3 months – that keeps the full protection going across the coating's whole life.

The science behind Q²M Cure: how SiO₂ builds coatings

Q²M Cure carries a higher SiO₂ concentration than your typical quick detailer or wash-and-wax shampoo. That concentration is high enough to form a chemical bond with the coating surface and build a layer of its own, thinner though it is. As it cures (at room temperature within 30–60 minutes) the SiO₂ cross-links with the existing coating – the surface gets harder, more hydrophobic and takes on a different surface energy that cuts down dirt pickup even further.

Using Q²M Cure: as a post-wash and standalone

As a post-wash sealant: after washing with Q²M Bathe or Q²M Bathe+, dry the car off and lay Q²M Cure down on the paint. Spread it with an applicator, wait a moment, then buff off. As a standalone between washes: on a clean car, spray one panel at a time, spread, wait and buff off. How often: every 2–3 months on coated cars, every 4–8 weeks on uncoated cars to keep the beading going.

Q²M Cure Matte: the version for matte paint

With Q²M Cure Matte GYEON offers a dedicated version for matte paint and wraps. The difference: Q²M Cure (standard) lifts the gloss – which is what you want on glossy paint, but it kills the matte effect on matte paint. Q²M Cure Matte is formulated to keep the surface matte while still delivering hydrophobicity and protection. Always use Q²M Cure standard on glossy paint, Q²M Cure Matte on matte surfaces.
