Koch-Chemie Gelcoat Finish "Gp1.01" is the ideal high-gloss polish for slightly weathered gelcoats and boat paints. It polishes, cares for, and refines surfaces while preserving them. The polish creates a streak-free high-gloss finish with intensive color deepening, both by machine and by hand. It sustainably protects the treated surfaces from weathering and rapid re-soiling. Application is easy, and the polish can be removed effortlessly.

Care and Refinement for Slightly Weathered Gelcoats and Boat Paints
Gelcoat Finish "Gp1.01" was specially developed to polish, care for, and refine slightly weathered gelcoats and boat paints. The polish provides a streak-free high-gloss finish with intensive color deepening and sustainably protects the treated surfaces from weathering and rapid re-soiling. It is suitable for both professional use and ambitious boat owners who value high-quality care.
Optimal Results with Suitable Polishing Pads
For effective removal of fine scratches, the Fine Cut Pad is recommended. For slight weathering, the Polish & Sealing Pad achieves a glossy finish. Combining the polish with the appropriate pads allows for optimal results and a long-lasting surface.
Easy Application for Professional Results
The application of Gelcoat Finish "Gp1.01" is straightforward. Both rotary and eccentric polishing machines can be used. Five pea-sized drops of the polish are applied to a suitable polishing pad (e.g., Fine Cut Pad or Polish & Sealing Pad) and distributed evenly over the surface in a cross-hatch pattern at a low speed. Then, polish with a rotary machine at a maximum of 1000 RPM or with an eccentric machine at the highest setting. Any remaining polish residue can be effortlessly removed with a Polish & Sealing Towel.
